In what ways was her life admirable?
Despite the fact that Amelia Earhart's childhood was filled with problems and unfortunate events, Earhart continued to pursue her education and eventually, her love for flight began. Earhart then decided to strive for her goal to be the first woman to cross the Atlantic ocean. However, the path leading to her eventual fame wasn't easy. Amelia had to work at various places to raise enough money to survive. At one point, she had to stop flying altogether because of the costly fee of renting a plane and buying the gasoline. She had many other female competitors, some of which were better pilots that herself. Amelia persisted through the treacherous journey across the ocean and arrived on the other side of the vast sea against all odds.
